“I Am Merely a Vessel” and Other Spew to Spout

Wreaking havoc with
“the way things work” and thinking
you know best: bad.

The assumption that
we should all give more than our
share of respect: best.

Using “dick” as a
verb to describe anything
in an email

to someone you want
something from is without tact.
Professionalism’s hard.

I appreciate the words, Mother. Fortunately, this post is not about me. It is in fact about a musical “endeavor” that I chose, (what turns out to be WISEly) to step away from. I am the “dick”, and was doing the “dicking” to which the email and subsequently this haiku refers, though perhaps only in the eyes of one particular member of the musical community.

Also, I am smarter than everyone and I’m trying to say so all the time. That’s not true.
