Distance and time pull;

GUEST SUBMISSION – “Two”
by Amy Dunlap
A meal to honor
Two drinks two years ago, time
Spent beginning We.
We Are Blank Stares and Walls Full of Past and Present

Expression of mind,
flows through pen over paper.
Thought is laid with ink.
I/We are/am at home with
lined paper; blank it beckons.
Precise, honest, raw.
A first draft or a
letter or postcard; a note.
We are what we share.
And the thoughts of those
who came before us, change us.
And we change the air.
Cliché, Do You Have the Time?
Long Night and Bustling Day Breathing Seconds of Clocks OR Slow Way Down
Time is a werewolf,
hazing and clearing; blood lust.
I am eaten up.
Time Slayer
Sometimes working is
pulling arm-hairs whilst being
occasionally
rewarded; monetary
values oft variable.
Chance Is, You Will
Success: a matter
of time and diligence, plus
willingness to fail
School and My Big Watch Telling Time By the Cup; Drip or French Press

Over my head. Ready: done.
Though, many new brews.
