ALEX I KNOW WHY! i did research on sugar, and its so funny that you compare this to steak because that is the example that this thing i was reading used. so sugar-it messes with your brain. it makes you think you are hungry even if you are not. so if you eat a steak-something that would generally make us full-but covered it in sugar, you could actually eat another steak in addition to the first one. simply because sugar cuts of the chemical to your brain that says “im full, stop eating”. so if you eat a cookie or something with sugar, you are likely to eat more than you originally would have eaten in the first place.
AHHHHH!

That’s really strange and now you’ve piqued my interest. Why do we even eat that stuff? Ugh, food.
